Just got accepted the other day and I'm looking forward to going to KCUMB! I basically knew nothing about the school when I applied but was very impressed with the school on interview day.

I was the same way, I was so impressed when I visited, even south fl (nova) didn't make me want to go there as much
grats!
i was thinking about making a facebook group yet, but i think its way premature to do that.. maybe in like march we should make one. Who knows what will change between now and then for many of us.. if i get into uconn id still go there bein that its my state school
I was accepted to KCUMB last week. I still have a few interviews left, but I can't imagine anything being better than KCUMB. I am going to send in my deposit soon. I really loved what I saw there. I look forward to seeing you all. So where is everyone looking at living?

I kind of felt that way, too, before I started. If you are looking for something to do, maybe you can get a short-term job and make some cash. Having extra cash certainly helps... Otherwise, go do some fun stuff, like travel, or go on some sort of extended vacation. I'm telling you now, when MS-1 starts, you'll be longing for those days when you didn't have quite so much to do.
the problem for me is that i play online poker, and im quite good at it, and i make more money than i would as a waiter or other job i could probably get. So i cant justify getting another job, i just make sure to get out enough and not become a hermit
Gotcha... Then it would be wise to realize that you won't have any time to do much other than studying once you start school. Consider your interim period as a good opportunity to enjoy your life, however it is you do that.
Well, goin to the plaza to eat Italian tonight. I wonder if any KCUMBers will be there or if this is a STUDY WEEKEND
Did any of you guys do the pre breakfast deal on your interview day? I'm trying to find the building it is in. I interview there in the morning so hopefully someone will check this before 8 and let me know.. otherwise I'll just go and ask around.. Congrats to all of you guys!!
We're going to Medical School in less than a year!!!!
Just got my acceptance. I interviewed on 25 October and live in K.C. so for the people that interviewed on or around that date, your letters should be in the mail. (Mine was postmarked the 5th).
LSU, you are going to freeze to death up here. Take it from a displaced Tulanian.
how cold does it get in the winter?
