My status has been the same for over 3 weeks. How did you get in touch with them? I called and left a message and also emailed them and no answer 🙁

Just try to be patient, and know that if you don't get a response - everything is fine! They will reach out to you if there is a problem. Submit your information and let it be.

We cannot stress this enough! If there’s something wrong with or missing from your application, you will be notified.
 
I submitted the supplemental (including fee) a bit over a month ago, but never received an e-mail about the supplemental being processed or completed or anything except for the payment receipt. Shouldn't I have received something by now? I did check the portal and while the admission status says "we received your supplemental application", the applicant page shows "In Progress" for the supplemental application. I was told I should just call the school, is that the right move?

It took about 5 weeks for mine to process. I sent the supplemental on July 11th and it processed on August 19th. So hopefully it should come through soon for you.

I’m pretty sure dental schools make their own portals to notify you through there. Your supplemental has been received the day you submitted it electronically. Don’t stress it.
 
Has anyone been able to get in contact with admissions? I am having an issue with one of my prereqs not counting and was told to contact admissions but my emails and phone calls have not been returned.

I have the same issue. Does your status say " The Admissions Committee requests a transcript with final grades from all courses" ?

Again, dental admissions at LECOM is run by 1 (one) person. She is in charge of screening through all applications for the admissions committee to consider. During my year, that was over 3300 applications. This whole process takes time. Not everyone is going to immediately hear back about something being processed, or received, etc. within a few weeks. If you've sent an email, she's going to read it. She might not reply but she'll still read your email.

We've only had 2 interview dates so far and they usually have dates that continue into early March.

Do we have to pay the supplemental fee twice?!

I paid it last month but they sent me a link to their portal "The Office of Admissions at LECOM Bradenton has processed your supplemental application. You can monitor the status of your application by logging on to the LECOMCandidate Portal. "

I clicked on the tab on the side under "Applicant DMD-Bradenton" and it has an incomplete supplemental application. I filled it out (again) and I was about to submit but it asked for my credit card for $50.

I don't have to do this supplemental right?

It's been 7 days since I received the email to check my admission status in my portal and I have the same message as you.

Yeahh it’s been like this for weeks now. I paid and fill out the form long time ago but my form apparently didn’t go through so I had to send in a new one. I didnt even get an email saying that my supplemental go through and I found out by checking the portal myself. Now Im just confused if this status basically just means patiently wait 🙂

No, if you have already paid you are good. Do not submit twice.

I have the same issue. I got a response yesterday saying that although I'm a US citizen, because I attended university in Canada, my prerequisites are not valid. I wish this requirement was stated on their admissions page, because then I wouldn't have spent $150 applying. Just wanted to post here in case anyone is in the same boat. Best of luck to you guys!

Apparently it's because I went to university in Canada, but there's nothing about this on their entrance requirements page 🙁 Hopefully this isn't an issue for you!

It will probably be slightly different this year, but the Class of 2023 had 553 interviews, and of those 105 were offered a spot in the class (~19%).
 
I just got an interview invite from LECOM and was curious what the manual dexterity part of the interview day is. Does anyone have a clue what it’s about and if it effects my chances of being accepted?

Soap carving and if it has an effect on your chances then it's minimal (less than 5%)

Thanks. I was just curious. I applied to 14 schools, application complete July 24th, and haven’t heard from any of them. I’m just starting to get a little antsy.

You should get one prior to your interview but don't expect it immediately after scheduling the interview.

It said on my application I was missing chemistry credits and they just fixed it yesterday to complete. I still haven’t received an interview from them. I’m wondering if I will still get one. Application says under review still on ADEA.
 
I think they are moving a little slower. I just got an email saying my supplemental application was just processed. I submitted that around July 13th.
