Does anyone know what the chances of acceptance are for post-Dec 1 interviews?

I don't think there's any info specifically about post-Dec 1st interview chances, but there's a forum here (http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/2015-guide-to-dental-school-admission.942453/) that has some helpful stats.

Lol I love how everyone is avoiding making the facebook group. If I hadn't already declined Maryland, I'd do it. But alas...enjoy the next 4 years with all that super cool technology! 🙂

Does anyone have a cost of attendance breakdown for Maryland that includes living expenses?

I can only find this page, which doesn't include living expenses: http://www.umaryland.edu/media/umb/af/sa/DDS.pdf

And this page that gives the round figure: https://www.umaryland.edu/fin/prospective-students/cost-of-attendance/

I can't remember if they had a more detailed breakdown that includes everything at the interview? Maybe they had a paper copy?

The more detailed cost of attendance was on a powerpoint, and we got a paper copy of the presentation in our little folders 🙂 PM me if you want the breakdown, I can type it up for you.

I interviewed 11/11 and haven't heard a thing. Every other school has gotten back to me.

So, about a week before i was accepted, I received a letter in the mail from the registrars office informing me that i'm classified as in-state. (i've lived in MD for 10 yrs, with one year about 3 years ago i lived in va with my mom).

However, today when I got my official acceptance letter in the mail, they told me that I've been classified as a non-resident of Maryland...
I'm so confused....

Did this happen to anyone else?

YES!! This happened to me too! I've lived in MD my entire life so there's no denying it lol. It's got to be a mistake. But it was strange how in the letter they were like, "We know you've told us you're a MD resident but we're just going to ignore that for now.." I'm planning to call them tomorrow and hopefully get it all sorted out.

I never got a background check request from them. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Maryland is one of the few schools that don't require one.
