(Not to be a debbie downer but) Also, numerous people are quoting 300K as the debt they will be paying off. I'm wondering how they are getting this as the school is 400K total. (plus interest and undergrad)

Hey I interviewed 3/15 and still haven't heard anything. I called last week on Thursday and they said no decisions have been made yet. Can you try calling them today and seeing what they say? I don't want them to recognize my voice and think I'm stalking them even though the lady I spoke with was a sweetheart

Yup, glad to see people on the same day make it haha. I haven't received the package yet, and I'm in Canada so I'd imagine it would take longer to get to me too.

I may. I'm from pretty far away so I don't know the area very well. I may just bite the bullet and live close the first year to get familiar with the area and then commute the next 3 years.

It should start moving within the next few days (perhpas a week?), since April 1st was the deadline for second deposite. My guess is they're looking at the waitlist now and planning who to call/email with the good news.

Still no packet. It's been a week now. To everyone who got in, did they send it to your permanent address instead? My parents are on vacation so they don't know if it came to our house or not. I'll give it one more day and call. The time limit to accept the offer is ticking and I don't have anything to go off of other than the email.

They send it to whatever address you provided to them. I got my packet about 2 days after my acceptance, so best to just call and say you haven't received it and ask to which address they sent it to. No sense stressing out that you haven't received it yet, just call and inquire.

Hello all

I interviewed 3/29 and got snail mail letter for wait list. I spoke to Dr. Mejia on thursday and she said they are going to give the second deposit people a few more days to send their stuff in before they start looking at waitlisters. She said I may here from her in about 2 weeks. Anyone else in the same boat? Freaking out about trying to get in?

They send it to whatever address you provided to them. I got my packet about 2 days after my acceptance, so best to just call and say you haven't received it and ask to which address they sent it to. No sense stressing out that you haven't received it yet, just call and inquire.

Yeah, for the record I still never got it. I called the office and they emailed me a scanned copy of the forms and the acceptance letter had my name and correct address on it so I don't know what happened. I still want an official hard copy though.

The wait list moves after the second deposit is due on April 1st and all double deposited applicants make a final decision. Our wait list moves at any time up until the day of orientation in August. If we have a seat available we contact the applicant.

Yeah that's what I figured. I tried calling and emailing but I was told that Dr. Mejia is swamped with emails and isn't taking calls. Guess we just have to wait ladies and gentlemen

Also I keep hearing when they have spots and after they determine who isn't going they will look at the wait list, so not sure what is going on entirely

The receptionist (or whoever answered the phone) said that the most amount of movement occurs in June and as of now "they are not sure who will be moving up or not". So, the waiting game continues, and I imagine it will for a very long time.

I guess let's try and stay positive!
