Why is NYU the school for you personally? When I was asked I talked abt the city and the schools clinical and academic strengths but I feel like they didn’t think it was sincere and waitlisted me as a result (last cycle)
Congratulations!! When did you and interview and did you do anything in particular to help your case while being waitlisted?
I interviewed Jan 10 and got waitlisted on the 16th, I just shadowed more my dentist since i had very little hours and updated my hours with a letter of recommendaiton from my dentist. I also showed my interest for NYU in my emails in my updates. Good luck!

3.43 ogpa, 3.31 sgpa for undergrad, 3.65 masters, 21 AA TS (16 PAT) OOS and 2nd time interviewing NYU - I thanked both interviewers and dr Mejia in emails because I was highly recommended to do so
Hey! I am actually having a new dentist send in a letter of rec to the office since I have been waitlisted. Did you have your dentist just simply mail in the letter to NYU's admissions office or did NYU want you to do it a specific way?

3.4 GPA and 19 AA. They said they're giving interviews until the end of March.

interviews first thing in the morning, one with faculty, another shorter chat with admissions staff. then you have a info and q&a session with dr. mejia. finally you get a tour with students and end with lunch with them.
