Those who got interviews... when did you send your application to Touro?

I believed I sent in/paid 1/12. not sure when it was received as I didn't get an email to confirm. but invited to interview 1/15.
 
I think those that had the application completed but haven't received an invitation yet mean we been rejected. I called and ask when they stop interviewing and the told me April. I don't think they have time to go over our application again.

Did it change to "under review" before you got an invitation? I sent mine on 1/12 as well and haven't heard anything as of yet.

I have to strongly disagree with that statement. As I posted earlier, my status on AADSAS is still reviewed/application complete, and I have been invited for an interview. Stay positive & good luck!

No, it's still "application complete". I honestly wouldn't worry to much about AADSAS statuses. Just wait for an email from the school directly.

I hope you are right, but it not looking good for me. I also submitted my app on 1/12 like you did. That mean they must have already reviewed my app, but did not offer me an invite. Hopefully that not a bad sign. Praying for the best now.
 
You will go crazy if you don't stay positive. Just keep staying positive!!! That's what we all have to do!

They also haven't rejected you, so that should mean something too.

I am in the same boat so we can keep our fingers crossed together!
 
They must have gotten a large number of applications. I don't think they carefully reviewed all of them. They probably took a few that stood out and invited them and then will carefully review all other apps. But its an speculation. It's only been one week.
 
I dont want to make u guys worry but i just got an email. They wanted to make sure that i would go to the interview bc they dont interview too many applicants.
"Please be aware interview spots are extremely limited. If you are unable to attend your interview, please let us know by phone"
 
My stats are comparable to KiristenD77 and I too am an RDA/Treatment Coordinator with 2+ years of experience. I submitted my application on 1/12, my status changed to application complete and then under review on 1/13, and then my status changed BACK to application complete on 1/14. I have yet to receive an invite for interview....so there's that :<

Thank you for the heads up! I am hoping that I just a standard thing they tell people so the interview spot doesn't go wasted! Hopefully!
 
I mailed out on 1/8 and didn't hear anything. I applied before I got into a few schools

did you mean received/complete? or reviewed/complete? did your ever go under review? when was your aadsas app mailed to touro?

yes, I'm sorry. I meant "received/complete". and no it never went under review. I mailed in 1/12 and got an interview invite 1/15.
 
Mine was mailed on the 15th and submitted on the 8th. Went under review then complete the following day. Maybe they're not interviewing me because I emailed them and their website says don't email them haha.. Oops

haha i think i made the same mistake. oh well, nothing we can do now haha.
 
i applied the first day it opened and still haven't heard back. i guess they're not interested
 
Everytime I hear my phone buzz my heart skips a beat thinking I may have received a interview invite...I really need to disable my SDN notifications

yeah, the next week after i applied i got admitted to a few. i wasn't sure at all if i'd get in anywhere. but i still paid for the application and i might as well see what they have to offer or if they'd be interested at all.

you got nothing to worry about then. this is my absolute last chance of getting into dental school. if touro doesn't give me a chance, i think i will have to give up on the dream. already took my dat 3 times, and finished my undergrad so taking more classes really won't improve my gpa much anymore.
 
so is it safe to assume got rejected if we didn't get interview as of right now and applied last week?

I wonder how many ppl applied and when they interview until. i know website says they interview until april but they started late reviewing.
 
Applied 1/11 ...still haven't heard anything, just received/app complete. Anyone else on the same boat?

I think their min GPA is 3.3. I have not seen anyone that got an interview that have less than a 3.3. That just speculation on my part tho.
 
For bcp and science as well? My overall is 3.34 and my bcp science are 3.10/3.12. DAT 19

Mine is the opposite of your. My overall is 3.1, 3.4sgpa, and 3.43 bcp. 19aa 19 ts 20 Pat.

It's also just the first round of interviews, if they're going to fill a class with 110 people they will need to interview a ton.
