Here's a course calender I found on the UCI website...
It's currently empty since I guess they haven't made the schedule up yet, but I think someone posted that by August 19th they would compile a schedule....

If you click on "Last Month" and go back to like May, you can see some of the classes that first years take...
The calender also confirms that classes are mainly 8 - 3 pm, and I think I saw a couple days where the MS1s went 8 - 12pm...
