I really think they are sending the supplement to everyone by order of when they received the apps.

A lesson I learned from UCLA this cycle is that it'll test your patience! As a large public, they lumber along. They're also very selective with interviews, so they begin later than most other schools, and go well into Spring (late Feb/March).

Sorry I know I've already posted about this, but I'm having major issues saving the completed pdf for the supplemental app... I go to print it but it literally has no option for "save as pdf"

I think you have to print it, then scan it and save your scanned document as a PDF file. I don't think you can save the original.

I thought that check in date was absurd. But its better to follow their guidelines rather than annoying them I suppose.

They don't even start reviewing apps till September... thus the 8/23 date. There's no point in worrying before then
Is anybody adding more information in the additional comments section of the secondary?
While other schools suggest using additional comments sections to talk about yourself as an applicant, UCLA's secondary seems like they just want the space to be used for explaining unusual circumstances.
"This space is provided to allow you to describe any additional information you would like the Committee to consider or aspects of your application which you think may seem confusing or incomplete as they are stated elsewhere. You may also use this space to explain factors which may have had a negative effect on some aspect of your performance."

I got that impression too, so I just left it blank.
Like I said in another forum...
I don't think they read it... I wrote:
"If you are looking for someone that can throw a mean Cinco De Mayo party, then I'm your guy!"
I'm pretty sure you can write whatever you want.
3 questions...
1)When you all are filling in your secondary are you running out of space in any boxes? I am able to type what I need to but once I click out of the box, one would be unable to read everything typed in it (like if I were to print the screen). Is this okay or do I need to shorten my inputs?
2)Also, would it be a negative thing to select "Do not contact employers"? The only reason I'd want to check this is because I don't want my current employer to know yet that I am applying to dental school.

I shortened my answers to fit into the window... They will not be able to read any answer that is below the window.
Just put that they can contact your employers. I am very close with all of my employers and they weren't contacted. I asked each one. Don't worry about it. I think it looks worse if you say no.
Put the whole address (as close to it as you can)
