Just received an interview today for Oct 22 as well 🙂 I'm beyond ecstatic!
Stats in interview thread.
I don't have any update on my AADSAS status either. It doesn't even show up.
 
So here are the calculated averages for ten applicants who received interviews:

AA: 21.40
TS: 21.50
oGPA: 3.59
sGPA: 3.54


Here are the ranges:

AA: 19 - 24
TS: 20 - 24
oGPA: 3.36 - 3.75
sGPA: 3.24 - 3.73

I also received one if you want to add my stats to the averages... 20 AA 22 TS 18 PAT... 3.7 overall, 3.73 science GPA

just got the email saying application complete. got scared cuz i thought it was a rejection lol.

Hi! When was your secondary turned in? I just received the "Application complete" e-mail today also and I submitted my secondary on August 12 (I was e-mailed the supplemental info on 8/9). Thank you!

I also received one. AA 21 TS 20 oGPA 3.36 sGPA 3.24

I am nervous because I saw that someone turned in their supplemental on Aug 23 and they have an interview already :/

Do you mind me asking when you turned in your actual AADSAS? Mine was submitted 7/27 and then DAT scores submitted 8/3. Maybe they invite based on that date? Thanks!

My actual app was submitted on 7/1 but it wasn't fully complete until 7/24 because of rec letters. I took the DAT before this cycle so the scores were submitted pretty early. Our timelines are pretty similar haha.
 
For those who received interviews or who got rejected, how long did it take for them to get to you once you received the "UCSF Dental: Received Supplemental-13" email?

Aug 10 received -> Sept 11 Interview invite

same here! I got my email for the supplemental app on 8/10 and turned it in 8/14...over a month later on 9/17 I got the "supplemental application received" email. such a long wait! 🙁
 
Received "Supplemental App-13" on 7/31, "Received Supplemental-13" on 08/14, and "Interview Invitation-13" on 9/11. Good luck to everyone still waiting! 🙂

Thanks for the information guys! Good luck on the interview! UCSF is my number one choice, so here's hoping for an interview too!
 
did you guys receive an e-mail after you submitted the supp. application stating that your app is complete? all I received was a customer receipt information e-mail stating that I paid for the supp app.

Yes. If you look above, I indicate the dates that I received each email. The final email I received prior to my interview said:

"Please accept this message as confirmation that our office has received your supplemental application and that your file is complete. Your application will now enter our review process. If we require any additional materials, we will contact you directly."
 
Hmm I submitted my supp app like a month ago and I still havent received anything. Well, I guess it's time to call another dental school to see if my app is stuck in place again. Penn, UNLV, and now UCSF... great.
 
I feel your pain. 🙁 Already had an issue with UNLV, and waiting to hear back from a couple of other schools from whom I haven't heard anything yet. I really wish there was a standard system that all schools used to keep applicants informed about their progress. Sure would make this process a lot less stressful for us.

I think UCSF asks on their website that applicants don't call them about application statuses.
 
I got my "Under Review" e-mail on 9/18.

I am curious, how do you know which batch you are? I want to know because I'm trying to pinpoint when I could expect an interview date, IF I get one. :\ UCSF might be my top choice.

It's based on which Friday your application was mailed out on. I don't know the batches off hand, but I'd just open one of the Batch ## threads and see how many weeks earlier or later your application was sent out. The send out date is indicated next to your dental school designations on AADSAS.
 
I got the email saying file is complete NO REJECTION 🙂 hopefully interview invite soon 🙁
 
Just got my UCSF Dental: Received Supplemental-13(9/24)..... I submitted my secondary on 8/21......almost gave me heart attack ....AADSAS mail out was on 7/27....got invitation to supp on 8/9
 
I'm in the same boat! I got that email yesterday too. My supplemental invite was 8/9 as well, and I submitted my secondary on 8/17. Seems like we have similar timelines. Hope we both hear back with good news soon! 🙂
 
got confirmation email yesterday as well. Keep fingers crossed.

When did you hear back?
 
I don't have an interview yet at UCSF. I will just be out there and I have a free day so I wanted to see if any current UCSF students might meet me to talk about the school. Maybe a long shot but I figured I would try to learn some more abot the program while I am out there.

Just got my Sup submited.. I was in 5th or 6th batch.. anyone else from these batch received a supplimental application request?

How do you know what batch you are in? Also, out of state, instate stats please?

Students refer to 1st batch when their application went out first. The first batch went out on June 22nd and second batch went out two weeks later July 6th. After that, every Friday one batch went out. so here is what we know:
1st: 22 Jun
2nd: 6 July
3rd: 13 July
4th: 20 July
5th: 27 July .... and so on....
Again, there is no official place to find out which batch you are and this is only what we (students) are using.

So did mine. It says they made a decision on 9/21. Is that a bad sign? I got my supplemental recieced e-mail on 9/11.
 
Also, does anyone know if they have given out all the pre-dec interviews?

A girl i intrrviewed w/ yesterday said she heard back on 9/24 from ucsf and got a november interview.....
 
Sounds like they might have already given out all the pre-dec interviews :/
