Is that similar to how many people were at the pre-December dates? Those on the active review list were sent an email saying that about 40 people would be at the January date.

There were roughly 80 at each pre dec inviteIs that similar to how many people were at the pre-December dates?
You should be there at 7:30, and you’ll be fine if you don’t eat. There were some people at my day that didn’t. You’ll spend some time in the atrium in the beginning, so I would just enter through the main doors and walk down to check-in. You’ll have three interviews, a tour, and a couple of presentations through out the day. People’s schedules are different as far as who and when you do interviews. You’ll get your schedule when you check-in with more info.Does anyone mind sharing additional info about what to expect logistically on interview day? The schedule just says breakfast at 7:30 and then interviews from 8-1. I just realized though that it doesn’t say where to actually go.. do we just walk in the main doors or should we know specifically where to go? Also, is it expected that we attend the breakfast? I don’t actually care to eat breakfast there, so I don’t want to look rude by not eating but I certainly don’t want to not be there if we should. Thank you so much!!

To those who interviewed today: Did they mention at the interview when they expect to release the next round of decisions?
Congratulations! That’s awesome! Anybody else get an acceptance today?By the grace of God, ACCEPTED!!! With a scholarship. I am in complete shock
I got an acceptance with a scholarship also. I Interviewed in January also.Congratulations! That’s awesome! Anybody else get an acceptance today?

Sorry they didn’t. But 10 OOS turned down their offer prior to the Jan interview; and that’s historically a lot lower than in previous years. So at the time of the Jan interview, it was 22 spots openCongratulations!! Did they mention if all the acceptances to fill the class we’re given today?
Thanks for the info! Are you OOS?Sorry they didn’t. But 10 OOS turned down their offer prior to the Jan interview; and that’s historically a lot lower than in previous years. So at the time of the Jan interview, it was 22 spots open
No in stateThanks for the info! Are you OOS?
I would assume they’re done and will he sending alternate forms shortly.Congrats to everyone that got accepted last week! Does anyone think that they're done sending out acceptances now or is it possible they still have spots available?
Saddish boi hoursI would assume they’re done and will he sending alternate forms shortly.
What are your stats? If you don’t mind sharing.Accepted yesterday as well!! Interviewed way back in September. OOS.
No not yet! But I emailed Carolyn Oakes this morning and she said they were put in the mail yesterday. So we should be receiving them this weekFor those who were accepted in January, have any of you received your acceptance packet?
Does anyone know if the class is filled? When rejections/waitlist will go out?
Has anybody heard anything since the 17th?
I will be!I was also waitlisted, seems like a handful or so of people get in off the waitlist from what I could tell in the older forums, even with January interviews, so there’s still hope! Those of you who got waitlisted, are you all accepting the spot?
i don't think that's it. i know a couple of people who got in with lower stats than me from our january interviewI‘m curious, do y’all think that if we got waitlisted, instead of outright rejected, our interview scores were good enough to get in but our stats just weren’t quite there compared to the others?
Interesting. Well I guess we won’t know much until somebody turn down admission. Just a sidenote, thank goodness they sent the waitlist info through email and that we won’t have to physically mail it in this year.i don't think that's it. i know a couple of people who got in with lower stats than me from our january interview
I just saved the email as a PDF and then signed it on my iPad and sent it in, it was annoying though bc the signature line went to the second page and I had to fix thatI just got the email as well. Did anyone else find it a complicated way of accepting the alternate status? My email put Dr. Reside's signature on top of the line that I was supposed to sign so I had to sign my name next to his...

Well for mine the signature was below Dr. Reside’s so I just used Inspect on Chrome and deleted the upper portion of the letter that was just the emails for me and Ms. Oakes and signature line was back on the first page. How did you fix that? I just scanned it back in and emailed it as 2 separate PDF pages because I didn't know how to fix it. Did you not have the other signature already there? It looked like it was meant to be right above Dr. Reside's name but it showed up on top of the line that I was supposed to sign.
It's the same thing, everyone's email should have said AlternateIs there a difference in alternate or waitlist? Or did everyones email say the same thing?
i wouldn't think so.. unc interviews hundreds of students and only has around 80 or so seats i believe, so it'd be weird to have over a hundred students on the waitlist. did you get waitlisted as well?Does everyone who gets interviewed get waitlisted if they didn’t get accepted?
From previous threads I think the waitlist is around 20 people, maybe more or less.i wouldn't think so.. unc interviews hundreds of students and only has around 80 or so seats i believe, so it'd be weird to have over a hundred students on the waitlist. did you get waitlisted as well?
Yes I was waitlisted but I did not feel that my interview went well and since they didn’t rank the waitlist I assumed everyone who interviewed was waitlistedi wouldn't think so.. unc interviews hundreds of students and only has around 80 or so seats i believe, so it'd be weird to have over a hundred students on the waitlist. did you get waitlisted as well?
I was assuming that too since I haven’t seen anyone say they were rejected with interview.Yes I was waitlisted but I did not feel that my interview went well and since they didn’t rank the waitlist I assumed everyone who interviewed was waitlisted
From what I've heard, not everyone who interviews is waitlisted. Rejections are sent out as wellI was assuming that too since I haven’t seen anyone say they were rejected with interview.
Yeah I don’t think it would make sense to waitlist everybody that didn’t get accepted outright, that’s odd and also more work for them since they have to re-evaluate all waitlisted individuals when a spot open up.From what I've heard, not everyone who interviews is waitlisted. Rejections are sent out as well
anyone know how many people typically get accepted off the alternate list?
