I too will likely decline my OOS seat in a few days
 
During interviews at UofU did they give any handouts? I can not find a folder from my interview and I can't remember if they gave out any info or if it was just the slideshow presentation.

I was wondering the same thing. I didn’t see one, so I made one and added my wife... it required me add someone and I don’t know anyone attending. Go ahead and send a request and I’ll add everyone planning to attend.

Has anyone else on the out of state waitlist heard anything back?
I was number 20 on the waitlist but haven’t received an email yet.
 
Hi all, just wanted to give an update on my application to the UofU SOD. I was initially placed on a ranked OOS waitlist with a rank of #24. Received an admission offer on 1/17. Unfortunately, I will be declining the offer since I have already committed to OHSU (I'm an Oregon resident). Best of luck to everyone this cycle!
 
Hey guys I have been accepted to the U! So exited but now I don’t know what school to choose out of my other acceptance. The other schools tuition is around the same (OOS) but their tuition covers dental instruments. Do students at Utah have to pay annually for their instruments? And if so are they your property or is it like renting them out?

Was accepted off the unranked list OOS. Declined my offer. Seems like they are going through the alternate spots pretty quickly.

This is true. They interview mostly those with very high stats. Who end up getting more than 1 acceptance.

Just got a called from UtahCD. They moved me off the waitlist and offered me a spot, I declined the offer because I will be attending UFCD. Hopefully this means good news for one of you!

Hey the instruments are not actually as expensive as they say on the COA. The reason they make them about 15k more expensive is so that students can borrow more in loans to cover just their living expenses. Otherwise the amount that would be allotted to cover living expenses would be like 12k and that’s not quite enough to live comfortably there
