Million dollar question, no clue. They said they should know around the time of my interview which is on 3/4. When I find out I'll post it here... til then fingers crossed. If someone finds out sooner please post!

Hey, did you receive your scholarship information after you put in your deposit to hold your seat or did they let you know even before that?

Torri informed me during my acceptance call. I received an additional letter in my acceptance envelope at my house.

They're probably looking over all applicants who haven't interviewed and making the final decision on a rolling basis. there probably is no exact date for a invitation or rejection, rather we'd get invited or rejected sporadically throughout March. I called Monday, actually, and the lady said that they were still handing out interviews for April. Hopefully we still have one final shot for an interview.

Sounds like good news for those still waiting!

Question- in past years' threads from what I could tell, I don't believe UoP handed out interviews into April. Does that bode well for people with late Feb/ early Mar interviews (moreso than in the past)? Just wondering. Maybe I'm reading too much into things... :X

I guess they send out interviews on Fridays. Haven't gotten anything yet... I have a ~3.6-3.7 oGPA and 23AA/ 23TS/ 20PAT. Is it my 20 PAT that's killing me? I heard that UoP wants >20 across the board. 🙁.

June-ish? I'm also a Texan though, so that might put me at a disadvantage compared to you. I'm guessing that you're a Californian? Despite being a private school, UoP might still kinda favor Cali. residents. UoP doesn't have to fill a certain quota of in-state residents, but I think schools get some kind of financial benefit from admitting in-state residents (?).

Found out I was put on the alternate list because class has filled up.....

All I know is a big round of deposits are due March 1, including mine, however after much contemplation, no scholarship, and due a strong desire to specialize, I know that I will not thrive at UOP so I will be declining my offer. So for sure there will be one more spot! Best of luck to everyone! Bittersweet to publicly be saying I will decline

News for those still waiting for an interview: I contacted UoP and they said that there are only a few spots left, all for waitlist position. :/. The class is now full, and so every interview from now on will be for a waitlist position.

I'm here in San Fran! Just walked around the Pac Heights area and took some pics of the d-school. So excited to be there in the morning!! 😀 (and btw those hills will sculpt your calves)

Sorry to post this, but did anyone make a facebook group of 2016 yet? I am trying to reach the 1st years. The reason why I asked is because my landloard has recently asked me to see if any incoming 1st year is interested in taking over our apt. located 18 mins walk from the school? It's near Japantown in an apt building with 24 hr gated secruity.

3 beds 2 full baths apt with 1 garage parking space available, washer and dryer, and more than enought storage space for cloth(for guys, can't say that for girls) and whatever you wanna store. The master is about 1,650($150 for the parking spot included) and the 2 smaller bedrooms are about 1,360 with utility, TV(dish network), and internet already included. so it's about $4400 total. The above split fee is what we're paying currently. You don't need to follow that format if you don't agree with the ratio.
Shoot me a message if you're interested. We're moving out in end of June

Hi,

Does anyone know if sending in a letter of intent is a good idea? I haven't heard anything back yet, but I applied pretty late. My status has been "Allow 7 to 8 weeks for Review" since December. I'm getting my masters so I sent in an updated transcript a few days ago. Should I send in a statement of intent or is that something I would only do after interviewing? How does UOP feel about more documents?

from my understanding a letter of intent is only done if a candidate is placed on a waitlist (after interviewing) but i could be wrong. at the very least a letter of interest couldn't hurt. make sure it is well-written, as swoops mentioned. good luck 🙂
