Npp. Estimating for both. I shadowed for about 400ish hours. This includes doing work similar to that of a dental assistant or front desk (but unpaid). For volunteering, I worked at a hospital and built about 500+ hours.

Same here, my friend and I who also received an interview did not receive the confirmation. Even up til today. They are probably busy, it took me a few calls to even reach someone to schedule an interview.

What do you mean by "20 spots more?" You mean they sent out ~164 interviews?
When I scheduled they offered 4 days but they were all November (1,2,7,8) interviews, I thought they would add more dates for November since it's only 4 days and each day they interview about 20 people.

Yes, in the phone call the girl told me that they will send 20 extra invitation emails to fill those November 4 days, just in case that not everyone is willing to schedule interview. But this year they are pretty full, so I will be scheduled for the December batch unfortunately. I have no problem scheduling interview with other dental schools so this is little bit new for me.

That is right. They will invite 20 extra invitations for each month, so there will be people that call in late will have to schedule for next batch. I was told that November only has 4 interview days, next batch is December.

Wish you good luck! And learn from my lesson that CALL immediately. I got my email last week 18th, and I dont know why I am super late already to schedule interview.

They will rank every candidate after interview. It doesn't matter when you interview.

From what I've heard, gpa and dat are very important in the calculating the ranking.

Here are the stats for the number interviewed. It's at least 34% accepted but I would guess it's quite a bit higher than that based on the number of interviews they do.

The person helping me on the phone said there will not be any December interview dates since they "take December off", the next batch will get end of November dates (last week) and the batch after that is January, which emails will go out for end of December and beginning of January.
