In previous years, everyone got put on the waitlist, and then around 5-6PM PST, people received acceptance emails.

Seems kinda cruel to have a message of "Check Back Dec 1st" and so everyone is going to check back and then have it immediately become "Wait Listed."

If USC is following trends of previous years, acceptances will go out later in the day, and everyone gets put on the waitlist in the morning.

They told us during the interview that everyone will be waitlisted the day of December 1st and then they'll start sending out acceptances in batches starting from Dec 1st-the week before class starts. Stay calm, everyone 🙂

During the interview day when I was having lunch with the current dental students, one of them told us that they got accepted ten days before orientation. Anything can happen.

I just read through some of last years thread, it looks like we most likely will not hear anything from USC until about 5 pm PST.

I think they still accept people on a rolling basis, not necessarily Feb 1st. I guess it depends on whether or not those who got accepted will choose to attend or not.

I checked the portal and I was wait listed in the morning but got an email at around noon telling me that I had been accepted. My portal also changed to "offer made."
