Hey guys, I actually got a call that an earlier interview date opened up, so I'll be there on Jan 19th now.. Who's going to be there? 😀

How many interview dates they still giving our? I remeber them saying there is only 4 total. 2 pre December dates and 2 post december each with a 100 ppl. Is this wrong?

Accepted December 1st too! I think it would be a great idea to make a FB group for the class of 2022.

I was previously scheduled for the Feb 3 date, but a spot opened for Jan 19th so I rescheduled for that one. I believe you are correct. These are the only two dates I was aware of for Post Dec.

Anyone else going to be interviewing January 19? 🙂
 
I was there on Nov 4. I can confirm that are close to 100 interviewees at WesternU interview days.

I'm a Third year.

Grades
100% specialization for DMD 2018's so far
No specialty program meaning you get to treat any case that comes your way
Sure it's not in the best of neighborhoods, but doesn't mean you gotta live in Pomona. Claremont and Chino Hills are nice

For those who got accepted, congratulations! If you build the official WesternU DMD 2022 page, ppl will come!
 
Okay so I just tried to make a Facebook group and apparently I need to add just one more friend before I can get the page started. Since I don't know any of my future classmates yet does anyone who was accepted and going want to shoot me a personal message with your name so I can find you on Facebook? I promise I'm no creeper lol. Once I have another admin, I can get the page up and running 🙂. Also, it would be nice to have another contact to refer to in case we need to ask some each other questions before Welcome Week.
 
Also, is anyone else's login for the secondary application not working? I tried to login today to print out some stuff, but now it's saying my login doesn't exist... weird.
 
Is there anyone else left in the dark like me; no interview, "none" status on AADSAS, and apparently still under review?

Also, for the people that got interviewed or accepted, when was your application complete. Mine was complete in October so I know my chances are bad this time, but when should I apply next cycle, is it true the early applicatios have better chances even with bad stats?

I was completely in the dark until last night. Most of my checkmarks are 9/1, but one is 9/20. Yes it's better to apply earlier, but in the next 6 months if you can raise your "bad" stats in any way, it will definitely help lots!
 
received an interview, will be turning it down. Really hope one of you get it!! Good luck!!!

I applied sometime in July put it didn’t go under review until middle of September, had some issues receiving my DAT score.

When you say "under review" does that mean your aadsas changed from "none" or did it stay the same the whole way through?
 
Based on last year's thread (also asked my admissions counselor), next round of acceptances should be this week!

For everyone else waiting in the dark, I called today and the admissions counselor told me that the last interview date is Feb 9. Fingers crossed that we get invites soon!
 
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! Do you guys know if Western grants any kind of scholarship with the admission offer?
 
Is there a good gym nearby the school? Saw on WesternU’s website that students get a good deal with LA fitness

My advice for your upcoming interview is to just be yourself. Great interview process overall.
 
Wait... I thought rejections/ waitlists don't come out until after February 9th? My admissions counselor confidently told me this. Did anyone else hear the same?

maybe he/she was talking about applicants who had their interviews. I also got rejected without interview
