Good luck 👍

Pre-req GPA: 3.91 (from Pharmcas)julierx said:Are all the invitations out for the next round? Any insight?
Would you all that got invites mind sharing your stats?
Thanks in advance, and good luck next weekend!

We have to call Mo O'Meara on this date (Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18) to set up an interview for either: Friday, April 21 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM; Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM -4:00 PM; and Monday, April 24 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM.?????
RachGator said:Everyone must have started calling at 10:01 because I have been trying to get through for 30 minutes. The busy signal is slowly driving me insane 😱
I was going to buy a plane ticket on Friday but I chickened out because, with my luck, I would have gotten a different day! Where are you coming from and how much did it cost you? I was so lucky to get a ticket, car, and hotel (Fairfield Inn) for 600. I can't believe that was the cheapest I could find but I grabbed it while I could. Thank goodness for sites like Travelocity! Good luck all and hope to meet some of you therejtac said:i started calling at 9:48...i dont think they were real happy with that, but i wasnt about to give up the interview time i wanted (since i have already bought my plane ticket!)
RachGator said:Will anyone else be interviewing Saturday late morning/early afternoon? Also, does anyone know how much parking is and how you pay? I don't want to get caught off guard. Thanks. Now I get to go to sleep so I can pull an all nighter studying for physics 2. 😴 How I hate physics 2.![]()
utpharmdude said:There are a few free parking spaces scattered within campus during the weekends and afternoons. Always remember to read the signs carefully. But the easiest route is to park in the garage, it will cost you $8 dollars (i think). The closest parking garage will be either "San Antonio Garage" or "27th Street Garage" The pharmacy school is about a 5 min walk from these garages. Check out www.utexas.edu to find maps.
Hope this helps and good luck! 👍

i was just wondering if you anything about what they are doing at ut about reapplicants. i had posted a thread earlier about reapplying to ut and there were a few others in my position who had not heard anything either. im assuming they will take into account our interviews from last year based on the reapplicant posts from last year but i would love to hear some inside info as im very very anxious. thanks for your help!
utpharmdude said:I know a few people who are reapplying and had their interview last year. They went to speak with Dr. Wilcox and was advised that they do not to reinterview and they will be reconsidered in May.
Good luck! 👍
pharmD131 said:thanks for your quick response...do u think i should also try emailing Dr. Wilcox, or will that make it seem like im being impatient?
Do you have any idea how many seats are typically available once the three rounds of acceptances are over?utpharmdude said:I know a few people who are reapplying and had their interview last year. The huge school part I can handle but the traffic is the one thing that could keep me from loving Austin. I35 is horrible! It makes Miami driving seem tame. 😱 I am just worried that being a nonresident will seriously limit my chances. They only took 3 last year (according to their stats on the web site).fob12 said:I had my interview on April 21st. The school is huge and the traffic is horrible, but overall I like the school. Dr. Richards was my interviewer. She was very nice, which was a suprise to current pharmacy students.
RachGator said:Hi everyone who interviewed so far:
How did it go and what did you all think? I had mine today at noon and loved the people (students and faculty) so far. Things went very smoothly and the people seemed happy to have us there. I interviewed with Dr. Wilcox and a 3rd year student. Both made me feel very at ease. I can't wait until May!!!! Hope your interviews went well. -R.
