Does your VERY 1st interview have a tendency to be the Worst?! (especially if it's an interview for your Dream School)

I remember my very first interview so vividly and I keep replaying it like a bad dream. I was completely nervous, shaky, and I let my nerves take over. Even though the interviewers were the kindness people you could ever asked for. It's just biggest fear of messing up that made it so nerve-wracking.

Do you guys remember your Very 1st Interview?

That makes the two of us. But mine wasn't as nerve-wrecky you as you sounded.

It was one of the gazillion times my sense of humor came to my aid😀

They'll expect you to be nervous I bet. Just keep your cool. I remember when I had a job interview for the technician job I felt like I was shaking. A week late I got the job and when I asked my interviewer if I was shaking and he said not at all. Just don't let your nerves get to you. Keep cool, calm, and collective. 😀

Yes, the first interview is the worst. Try to make it so your first choice school isn't your first interview. I was sweating and shaking.:scared::scared:

My first interview was not great by any means, but my interviewer was horrendous, too.

I think I did very well, but I def had good cop bad cop and that was the first time I've ever experienced that method before. This one a-hole kept disagreeing with my answers EVEN WHEN I WAS ANSWERING THE "TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF" question! GOD!

By any chance was that at Touro CA??

Mine was pretty tough. It was one of my two top choice "dream" schools. I was trembling for most of it and my interviewer didn't smile really or wasn't particularly "welcoming". Once, he asked three questions in one question and I was so nervous that I had difficulty keeping track of where I was going with my answer and I probably rambled quite a bit. Then he asked me if I had applied to my state school and in the same question, asked why it wasn't my first choice lol I was like wtf- how do I answer that? (Because my state school- where I go now- was also a "dream" school for me) Then he teased me about where I am from and asked how I could function in the opposite climate. I made a couple jokes at the end and made him laugh, but only after he made me feel ******ed. I thought the interview overall went ok but I was really, really, really nervous until about halfway through it.

I wish I had a "dream" school. I got my bachelors degree a few years ago so I was tyring to find schools that I met most of their pre-reqs because I refused to take more classes without a guarentee of admission. I only found 3 schools that fit the bill in the whole northeast. Luckily I got in, but with a bachelors they're still making me take microeconomics at a CC. Lame. There was no way i was taking any more science classes so it was tough because alot of schools have some kind of A&P or micro lab- no thanks.
