SO I just got an email from a prof saying that he faxed in his stuff to interfolio....now I am anxiously awaiting the update from Interfolio where they say they have it.

I am imagining the things that could go wrong, like if he didn't put the barcode page FIRST or whatever. I am sure it is fine but until I see it I will be nervous. I know. I need to calm down. I can't. His letter is the one I need for Pritzker. And I just can't be calm when it comes to Pritzker.

i know i could look it up......or i could just ask you. what letters does Pritzker require? what is the max they take? Thanks

Yeah. So they need three academic, at least two from science.
I believe they will take up to six. Any more than that is unreasonable in general though IMO.

That's my problem too. Last I checked, there is exactly 1 other person with an MDapps profile, applying this year, from my Undergrad. school (and it's an Asian Female.)

Okay! This morning the letter that four schools are waiting on hit my interfolio account. Who ever told me about the electronic delivery (Cav?) totally helped because I was wary about it but then felt fine after seeing the schools name come up.
Two overnight deliveries: 50.00
Two electronic deliveries: 8.00
Knowing that I'm going to be complete at three of my top choice schools: PRICELESS!



You all, I can breathe again. I know we can't take this so seriously but I can't help it. I'm serious. 🙂

I messed with mine to make it more anon. I'm tempted to change a whole bunch of stuff (like make my MCAT 24 and my GPA 2.90) just to mess with people. Or is that mean?

I'm leaving mine. If an adcomm's looking for a reason not to admit me, they can find it -- low GPA and (lack of) research experience -- without ever going near mdapps. My only concession was to un-label my dream schools, so any school can imagine it's one of my dream schools, and I may not list acceptances on there right away.

Yeah, anybody who's ever met me will know instantly who I am from that thing -- but I'm not exactly posting disgraceful dark secrets. If they want to know when I get rejected from Vanderbilt 🙁 , I don't mind.

I was very grateful to have mdapps profiles up there when I was starting this process. It helped me to look at people's stats and acceptances, figure out what number of schools I'd be wise to apply to, that sort of thing. People keep asking "can a high MCAT make up for a low GPA?" and I figure I'm a good test case. 😉

Edit: I just noticed everybody took them off their sigs... why's that? Should I be more worried about this whole thing?

I want to bust out some acceptances for all of the other kids who have a 29 and a 3.6. Oh, and an R on the writing sample. Represent. Respek.
