I am totally pumped!! I'm hoping some other TX schools will interview me before the fall semester starts so I can take as little time off school as possible for interviews. But I guess everyone hopes that. 😀

Hey guys...I'm having a lil bit of a problem making a decision...I half-filled out the CASPA application for PA school in addition to applying to med. school just so I have SOMETHING to do if I don't get it which I'm praying to G-d doesn't happen!!! But, I can't seem to bring myself to submit the application because I don't really want to do it but I do want to make sure I'm doing something with medicine even if I don't get into med. school...here is my profile for mdapp. http://www.mdapplicants.com/viewprofile.php?myid=6043

I got accepted to PA school and ended up not going. If you really want to be a physician, you shouldn't just settle for being a PA. They aren't the same, and you will have a hard time feeling fulfilled.

NOTE: This is not a bash at PAs or other mid-levels in any way. I'm just saying that if you want to be a doc, then you should only apply to med school. If you don't get in this year, there are options besides settling for something else.

I wasn't calling you a troll persay. You just have a wonderful habit of aggressively bashing anyone you don't agree with. Which, you have to admit, is kind of troll-like. =) (Or maybe it was just 4 angry posts in three topics in a 60 minute period. Fun day for all.)

Well sometimes we all talk a little $hit, but most of us longer-time SDN'ers can back it up.

Yeah, but in that time, I've had 500+ posts, including a thread which is now included in a sticky.

I also edited 30+ personal statements, not including re-edits.

i'm not saying you're a troll at all. but you were the one who called yourself a "long time sdner" and i was just making the observation that you haven't really been a member for that long ( i haven't either).
