hi all,

i'm a religion major, spent a semester abroad in israel, and wrote an honors thesis for my major. would these be things i include in the 15 experiences for the amcas, or is there somewhere else to put these?

thanks for your help!

Yes. Personally I'm putting my honors thesis in the same activity with the rest of my research.

The experience of writing an honors thesis can be listed along with related hypothesis-driven Research, or under the Other category. International travel could use that same category or Hobbies. Or you could just mention it in the Thesis entry if they were related.

If your semester in Israel included courses taken for credit, the courses will be listed among the courses taken so it will show up there. However, as mentioned, you can include that among your experiences or you can take an experience you had there (volunteer work, research etc) and list that on the application.
