What the...i have the EXACT SAME STATS 20 AA 20 TS 3.53 GPA 3.42 Science wow.......i applied to most of those schools. I didnt apply to UOP as much as i wanted to. a 20 is LOW to them...have you taken calc? if you havent dont apply to boston. besides that your list looks pretty good!

That's crazy!! HAHA! What is your list? I have taken calc but it was at a community college! And I guess i should take out UoP :\ ugh that school looks so tempting cause it's a three year program!

I would take off OHSU. My GPA and DAT were higher+ experience in dentistry and I only got a competitive email from them without interview. On the other hand, I would add UDM to the list.

Yes, your stats are decent! UDM offers a lot of seats for Canadian applicants unlike most U.S schools. I am actually surprised that it was not on your list.

I will definitely add UDM in. I just thought I didn't have a chance, so there was no point! But thanks a bunch!

Just a heads up though, if you don't give MWU-IL the money for all 4 years of the program before you start (>$400,000), they won't accept you. Only the case for internationals.

Haha I know right?! I applied there last year and they sent me an e-mail reminding me that if I didn't have the money for the whole program before I started, I would not be allowed to continue. I think it was like $437,000. That number sticks in my head. So unless your parents are loaded and don't mind dropping that kind of dough on the spot, don't bother lol.

Unless you're a wealthy man/woman, I would save some cash and cut out several of those schools. Personally, I would cut out many of the state schools- New York, Boston, USC, UOP, etc. -that you're not completely set on attending.
If the rest of your application is decent, I bet even with less than 15-16 schools you'd have a good chance of getting in. Good luck!

I'd aim for 15-16. Your GPA and DAT are right on average, but from what I've seen, Canadians might have a few more hurdles than American applicants. (That might be totally wrong, though!)

@studentdentistwish your stats look good for NYU. I had 2 friends from U of T St. George who got in with identical stats. They applied early. Any private school that accepts Canadians would most likely invite you for an interview if you submit soon. (American schools don't really care if you went to U of T or York or Western or UBC or .. it's all the same to them... had I known that years ago I would have went to York in a heart beat.)
