This week I was accepted to both TJU and Temple's DPT programs. I am currently a Temple student who lives in-state (in Philadelphia) so commute to both would easy for both. I know both have excellent reputations and was hoping that people who have gone to either of these programs or had to make the decision between the two could weigh in on which I should decide. I do not think I can make a wrong decision but I weant to make the best decision.

I was in a very similar situation a few months ago. I was a temple undergrad student who just recently got my bachelors and I was accepted into both TJU and Temple. Ultimately I chose temple because

1. No other place I interviewed made me feel so welcome.
2. The interview for Temple was intense and I could tell they really wanted to make sure I wanted to have that seat in their program.
3. Everyone from the faculty to the students were nice to me and we talked about other things besides just school.

I didn't choose TJU because I just didn't like the vibe they gave off. Don't get me wrong, they are a wonderful school with a top notch program but everything felt like they were still rebuilding. What I mean is, when I took my tour they were doing so much reconstructing. We didn't get to see their cadaver lab either cause they said that was also under construction. And my tour was given by one of the people higher up and not by current students so I didn't get the students perspective into the program.

Ultimately I chose Temple because they are established and I was impressed. Nothing against TJU though. I hope this helped somewhat and good luck with your decision!

I received an email on the 15th stating that this year's class is full.
You did? Were you on the waitlist? Did you had an interview? I'm on the waitlist, I haven't received an email yet that the class is full.

I haven't heard anything neither, but I will be more likely declining anyways. I dont like online classes🙁 and Im too broke to spend another deposit.

I applied later in the general cycle (~Nov) so I don't think they even considered my application.

Specifically, the email said, "Because we conduct rolling admissions, at this point in the admissions cycle our Doctor of Physical Therapy program is full. As a result, we regret to inform you that we are unable to consider your application for this year."

This was the one and only communication I received from them since I first received confirmation of my application submission in Nov.
