You need to calm that **** down, dude. At this rate, you're going to have an audible orgasm during your white coat ceremony.

Congrats!

But why do you do it, too?

$ means "dollars"...

SHC1984 does it constantly, too.

AHHHHH *head asplode*

...reminds me of that verizon customer service call.

G: Do you recognize that there's a difference between "point zero zero two dollars" and "point zero zero two cents"?
[pause]
M: Point zero zero two dollars?
G: Do you recognize that there is actually...
M: ...and point zero zero two cents.
G: Yes, do you you recognize there's a difference between those 2 numbers?
[pause]
M: No.

definitely would make it an exciting event

While I agree SDN is not a BLOG (there are places for that here though...) - I have no issue with people throwing out their excitement / frustration.

Congrats OP - remember - these are the first of many steps...

Pre-pharmacy forum has to remain supportive kids - The big boy thread is where we tear down / make fun of OPs.

I'm just having a little fun with him, no harm intended. I'm glad that he's enthused about his career path; it shows that he has a passion for this field beyond the paychecks. Besides, I was being supportive. Mentioning white coat ceremonies mean that I believe he'll get in and thus be able to attend one.

OP is female, btw. 👍 You can't tell from the emotional swings?

Well, I knew that the OP had a significant other who also is applying this year...I just got them mixed up. Sorry about that, ma'am.

...actually, that makes my orgasm comment even funnier.

lol. this thread turned funny pretty quickly.

To OP - congrats again on e-submitting. I have no doubts you and your bf will get into school together! And I'm also happy you're so excited about this, it's definitely refreshing on these forums!!

I aim to please. Always glad to see I made somebody laugh.

By the way...January 15th was when I interviewed at St. John the Fisher.

Already paid it. The deposit paid part of it, student loans paid 11.5K...I only had to fork over $954 of my own money. Got my house, got my bills paid, all that's left is for August 14 to come and I'm rollin'!

So I take it you are going to SJF? If so, I'm sorry you didn't get into UB.

lol, that's all of my pent-up frustration about UB.
Still waitlisted, still waiting. I don't know, we'll see what happens.

I don't know what I'm waiting for..I have to pay this tuition and be done with it!

Just hope the BF doesnt break the OP's heart during the first semester.

That would make some very nice background music.

How come it says in school information page that Shenandoah doesn't need supplemental but yet it still asking us to pay for the fee? What's going on?
