The personal statement is the only thing missing on my application. I'm almost done with it, just doing some final revisions. I was wondering when people say apply early...does that me within the first day, first week, first month?

I don't have the best stats in the world (non-science: 3.33 sgpa: 3.05 cgpa: 3.16 major: Chemistry, mcat: 27) so it was imperative I submit my application "early" and I missed the first day of submission... so I'm sort of freaking out >.>

Ive read that Applying by August/September will put in for the first batch of interviews hence = Early....this has been stated by some of the AdComs on SDN as well....

You are late if you apply beyond october.....anything After Dec/Jan, you better have a 28+ and 3.6+ gpa.

Please dont freak out....you are fine.

submitting aug/sept is different than being complete aug/sept. if you're submitting aug/sept, make sure to account for the 4-6 weeks verification time. with your stats, try to submit it by july

When is it ideal to be complete then?

Submitting in Aug/Sept is by no means early. If you apply in Sept, people can have acceptances before you are complete - that is not early.

Early is submitting in June or early July.

If I submit late June/early July (as in very soon), will my application be verified by the end of July? That's 4 weeks.
