I would like to really encourage everyone to go to Scutwork.com and fill out the Program Reviews for every program that you went to!!!
When I was looking for information about programs (I mean real information, not just the program's pretty looking website), I was amazed by the paucity of good info out there. Basically, I based my application decisions on location, the few Scutwork.com review that were there, and the advice of a couple of progam chairmen.
I ended up applying to 42 programs because I just didn't know enough about any of them to exclude them, and didn't apply to a few that, in retrospect, I probably should have. Luckily, it all worked out for the best!
For example, nobody has submitted a review for Iowa, Bascom-Palmer, or Vanderbilt!
But right now, each of us knows more about all of these programs than anyone else in the country! We've been there, seen it with our own eyes, and talked to residents ect...
So, if you've matched or not, please take the time to fill out a the Scutwork.com reviews. It will make life a lot easier for the applicants that follow us.
