I need help in determining a timeline on the whole pre-exam process.

I'm currently waiting to receive my grades from university in native country, meanwhile I'm in preparation for Part I.

If i receive my grades and send them to ECE in June, how soon should I send my application to ADA and furthermore when will I know information on how often the test is offered and mainly how soon can I take the test?
How often is it offered?

I'm also very unclear on the application deadline process for next year, afraid I won't have enough time to take the exam and possibly have to retake it in order to still have sufficient time to apply to several school for the next school year.

Please advise, any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Part I is computerised so you can sit it anytime as long as there are free spots in the test center of your choice.
TOEFL is the same.
For ECE you have to check on their site how long does it take them to send you the evaluation.
Applying to schools : they have very different schedules and dead lines, so check each one you are interested in.
Good luck.

Thank you very much!
I've heard some scary info that the test is offered only twice a year, and now I'm glad I didn't believe it!

As far as retaking the test, how soon after first try, would I be able to retake it?
Thanks again!

The paper and pencil version test (not computer based) is indeed offered twice a year.

thanks La Fea!
oh, and thanks for all the info on your blog, I'm a frequent reader!

computer vs. paper test is just a matter of preference, right?
