Just read in Robbins pg. 1353: "Neoplasms of the lens have not been described".
This seems like one of those cool medical trivia facts that are interesting even to the non-medical public, assuming the lens is one of a kind this way. Are there any other tissues that have never been found to produce neoplasms?
