Does anybody else have a random name beside the date under "received date" of LOR? When it was first received it showed the name of the writer of my committee packet then once it was processed it shows a random name. I'm so confused...
Yes, happened to me too.

So I have a question,

Originally when I was filling out my application I put in some planned coursework that I intended to take in order to achieve my biology minor. However due to the class scheduling and a misunderstanding I am no longer going to pursue a biology minor and i an instead going to change my planned course work.

I've read online that Texas A&M takes a specific interests in your planned coursework and the classes your actually enroll in, is this true? And if so, does dropping the bio classes look bad?

I have a similar situation with a planned employment I listed and am wondering how Texas A&M will take that

Would love feedback as well

They'll invite you based on what's in TMDSAS right now (assuming it's complete) and at your interview you will fill out another "planned coursework" paper. You have a chance to explain changes there and during your interview. It will most likely be fine.

Unless your app says "I'm taking immunology, histology, cell biology 4, pathology, physiology, and biochemistry" and you're dropping all of those next semester...

Congrats on the kid! I have one too.
It's a lot of fun (and hard work but I'm sure you'll hear that a million and a half times haha 😉)

At least I didn't feel like the only one in here that are done with school and have kiddos. I know exactly what ya'll talking about, especially with 3 boys, sometimes I wasn't sure if I could make it through the day. Haha... It sounds like a parenting forum now...lol.

Not necessarily a bad thing ha

TMDSAS essay questions. I'm not applying till next cycle, but I wanted to get a head start on my essays. I just finished my AADSAS personal statement and was hoping to just copy and paste that to the TMDSAS personal essay (and then add a bit more since I'll have the character increase). However, the prompt for TMDSAS app seems much more specific than the one for AADSAS. I think my AADSAS essay covers the "motivation" component, but how closely did you follow the rest of the prompt about the "philosophy" and "goals relevant to the profession." Did any of you run into this?

I wrote my PS to follow TMDSAS and then used it for AADSAS (taking out a sentence since the limit is shorter).
I had a writing tutor help to make sure I hit all the points. Motivation and goals kind of went hand in hand but I remember specifically pointing out somethings to make it fit more cohesively. Idk if hitting all the points is necessary, but I didn't want them to be like "Well she can't read directions" lol

Hmm..
Well I just saw something on Baylor's (A&M) website...It says you can use the evaluator courtesy form or put the last 4 of your social on the letter? Is this just for OOS? I don't think my letter had that..

I'm honestly not freaking out but today I'm bored and, while I never usually get e-mails, Olive Garden and other silly promotions are blowing up my phone! :nono: I don't care if it's the last day to make a Tour of Italy on Sunday.

Hey everyone I just have a question..so I'm considering whether or not I should still apply at all to med schools via tmdsas because I feel like it's already way too late. I would be an out of state applicant and have a 4.0 with a 516 mcat and pretty good ec's. anyone think it's still worth it at all?? 😕

I think you're lost.
This is the pre-dental forum.

Hi! This is a pre-dental forum, but I think you should really consider the processing times for all your documents (transcripts, LORs) as well as your application. However, in my honest opinion, I would still apply if I were you. An opportunity is an opportunity.
