TMDSAS anyone?

Hi,

the folks at TMDSAS said they will not accept or process an application to TX med schools UNLESS your spring grades are in.

I told them I'm on the quarter system and my Spring grades won't be available until late June. I wanted to apply as early as possible (around May 1).

For those who have applied to TX schools, do they really enforce this rule that Spring grades have to be in, or will they process your app anyway. What is it to them!?; if the TX med schools want our Spring grades, they'll ask for them.

The reason I ask this is b/c AMCAS does not require Spring grades.

So for sure you can't submit TMDSAS app until Jun 1st? For some reason I thought you could submit it May 1st.

I believe the first applicant group is not released until July 15 and they don't process anything prior to June 1 no matter when you submitted.

I have filled out the first section, but will shift to resubmitting transcripts first since that is the biggest vortex in the application process.
