Happy first day of TMDSAS!
For the question about your hometown, is it better to put a town in tx? There are two places I consider my hometown, and one of them isn't in tx, but I did do the last 3 years of high school in tx. So I'm wondering if it's better to put the hometown outside of tx, where I lived for 9 years, or the hometown that's in tx, where I only lived for 3 years.
Basically, Is this a question to determine your loyalty to tx, or is it a question to determine if you can bring diversity to whatever school in tx you end up?

It can go either way. You're current Texas residency will suffice for IS status during the application. I'd use whichever town you honestly consider your hometown. It shouldn't adversely affect you to put down a non-TX hometown. It's honestly more likely to be glossed over by the ton of other info they require.

GL! :luck:

P.S. There should be a 2013-14 TMDSAS specific thread for more questions.

I'd put the Texas town. What benefit is there to putting an OOS hometown?

Thanks guys. I think I will put the OOS town because that's where I lived the longest and identify more with the culture.
