Hey guys so I haven't had any shadowing yet but I am going to start this week. If I shadow starting from now to when I apply (around June - July) would it be enough? I heard dental schools don't like it when you do it all at once, and I'm also scared that I might be doing it too late. What do you guys think?

You gotta start at some point! If you accumulate at least 50 hours you should be good. Remember some schools have specific requirements (around 100).

I continued to update schools about my observation hours by email even after submitting because my hours weren't super high with my initial application. It was a nice way to be able to make some contact without seeming naggy. In other words, I don't even think it's too late after submitting.
