Hi!
Is it gonna be too late to take DAT at the end of Aug for 2007 cycle? But I will apply early (May/Jun) since I will not finish DAT yet so is it gonna be still pending/incomplete status in AADSAS?? Thanks!

You do not have to turn in your scores to AADSAS. AADSAS will still process your application and send it out to schools without the DAT scores. The ADA will send your scores directly to the schools you are applying to once you have taken the exam. However, schools will not even touch your application until your scores reach them.

Took mine in August.... Made it in fine...

Tinman is right... Submit it asap and send your scores later.

took mine at the end of august too, submitted my app in july, my dat scores beat my app to the schools bc aadsas took 8 wks.

I took mine at the end of Aug. did pretty well, and I'm being wait listed at the better schools because they're full. Take it as soon as you can, though don't take it if you're not ready, kind of a catch 22.

I applied in May and took the DAT 8/24 and two schools offered me their first interview dates... better to take it a bit later when ready... good luck

Might be ok for some schools. I took my test late August while I turned my appl. in mid June. I never heard back from UOP, and got a really late interview from Tufts.

I think that it just depends on your stats. Ofcourse applying early and taking your DATs early is the ideal. I took my DATs in Sept. and AADSAS submitted my applications in Oct. I still got into many of the schools that I applied to. Don't expect to hear from UOP or Case if you complete your apps late though. Good luck!
