I'm a Canadian with ~ 3.1 s/cgpa and 31O MCAT do you think it's too late if I just start my app this week? And what schools would you suggest applying to and why? Thanks in advance.

Not too late! And, where in Canada do you live? East side, or West side? Middle?

About an hour outside of Vancouver. Good to know, I'm going to start putting things together tomorrow.

If staying "close" to home is a factor, I'd apply to the 2 california schools and phoenix.

If you hate the heat (phoenix gets ridiculously hot) try DMU.

I used to live in Alabama and Iowa had Alabama beat in summer temperatures this year. That is quite the feat.

That being said, DMU may not be the best choice for "beating the heat".

Lol, although I'm not a fan of the heat I was wondering if any school was more reputable than another. I read someone's post on here to avoid Western but obviously you never know of random people's insights ( as I ask for insight 😛 ).

This question will get you a large, varied answer which will ultimately boil down to: no school is more reputable than another.

That being said, certain schools are known for certain things.
