I know how much rankings are scoffed at on here, but I figured some people might like to know before they come out on thursday. Take these with a hint of suspicion, someone posted them on a forum, but I think they are accurate. I don't have any other rankings so don't ask me!

Looks like nothing really changed...except UCLA dropped and yale moved up.
 
top 10 doesn't speak much because we all know what they are. top 40 on the other hand....

Ok I also have a few other rankings, I just didn't want to post them and have people asking me what all the rankings are because I don't have all of them. I just know the top 10 and where my school is ranked because I asked for them from someone who picked up the magazine early. Here are the rest I know. I know no other school's rank!

Yeah that's too big of a jump. I'm interested to see where the numbers go--give me something to do as the school year winds down. 😀
 
Speaking of which, does someone have a list of the old rankings? It would be cool to have a spreadsheet with the rankings of each school going back to 2005 or something.

was about to click but I saw you say hahaha, and I immediately knew it was going to be a rickroll. My suspicion was confirmed when upon mouseover, the link started with youtube.

you should look it to pitts pstp. its like the cclcm curriculum. not easy to get into but look into it. maybe you like. i didnt feel like posting this in your thread
 
For the record, I think when I was searching something I noticed someone else did the same thing last year posting the ranking early, and they ended up being completely wrong. So I wouldn't really put too much weight on this (no offense poster, like you said, you pulled it from another source as well). I mean, come on, a 4 way tie (watch on thursday there really is a 4 way tie and I'm going to be rather embarrassed). Wish there was a way to bet on this forum though hehehe, ok, anyone who can figure out who I am and find me, I'll buy you a drink if I'm wrong ;-) j/k

Ties are kinda lame. I mean, technically speaking, Columbia isn't 10th, it's really 7th, as far as the actual scores are concerned. It just makes an already not-all-that-helpful ranking system even more unhelpful.

I was thinking that too at first. But, then I considered the fact that there are technically "9 better" schools than Columbia so that makes it 10th. Meh, it's all boloney though. Who cares? P=MD regardless of school 😛

See, I understand that, but if I'm going to be looking at the rankings at all, it's going to be for stuff like residency director score or whatever, so if one school has 4.9 and the other one has 4.8, it doesn't really matter how many have 4.9- the 4.8 one is just a bit below them, and is therefore "second" in that rank. Blah. I see it both ways, but ties irritate anyway.
