Cornell, all the UC's, Dartmouth, Mayo, and Pitt are all schools that are on the US News list....What's your point...?

At my school it was mostly californians, and at most private schools out of CA it is mostly californians. I think that californians are too competive.

What I was trying to say is that the UC med schools are so competitive that many residents can't get in to their state schools.
