Before interviews:

1)Pritzker
2)Mt Sinai
3)Einstein
4)Loyola
5)Penn State, NYMC

AFTER interviews:

1)Pritzker
2)Mt Sinai
3)Loyola (impressed me!)
4)Einstein
5)dropped the last two, too rural!

Overall, apply to all sorts of schools and hope...in case of Sinai hope you get in immediately or else you will not be rejected from their waitlist until about 2 weeks AFTER classes start...by then you're surprised they know you exist.

 Their loss :D

Still waiting on interviews, but pre-interview:

1) UCSD
2) Stanford
3) Washington U. St. Louis (merit scholarships, baby!)
4) Drexel
5) UPenn

I only applied to 11 schools (these 5 plus Pitt, Penn State, UVa, Cornell, Boston U, Tufts) because I have a strong profile and I'm confident I'll get in somewhere. Drexel and Penn State are my safety schools, and the Cali schools are my biggest reaches. Cornell may be a good bet because I'm a Cornell undergrad, and the Boston schools are pretty high on my list too. Actually, of the schools on my list, I wouldn't mind going anywhere...it's just a matter of getting accepted first!

1.) Iowa
2.) Wisconsin
3.) U Mich

want to stay local.......

What could be better than serving the soldiers who are dying to keep us safe. I plan on a full career in the military no matter what school I attend, but I'd like to go to USUHS where I'll learn what I'm in for right from the start. Other than that I picked schools that I've heard good things about, that also accept out of state students. Very important for me since I didn't apply to the University of Utah. Probably had a better chance of getting in there but I hate the school.

I think everyone that "matters" to UCSF graduates in terms of their career (residency, fellowship), know DARN well how good UCSF is.

wow, sounds like it's time for someone (thackl) to start the "OFFICIAL 2004 Acceptances Thread"....

Number 1 on my list will forever be the school(s) that offer(s) me $$$ :)

Anyway here is my list :

1. Hopkins/WashU
2. Chicago/Columbia/Harvard/UCSF
3. UPenn/Yale/Cornell/Dartmouth
4. Northwestern/NYU/Georgetown
5. Yeshiva/Mt Sinai/Vandy/Michigan

It's very hard to choose :) I love all the schools that i applied to. I would prefer to stay in a large urban setting though. If any school from #1 to #4 offers me an acceptance i will be in heaven.
If any schools offer me any money then i will buy everyone drinks :p .

And yes i do know i applied to plenty of schools :p (there are a few not shown in the list :p)
