Ok, guys need help again. This is the killer . We can eliminate A for sure, Looking at the top and counting the lines we have 4 lines going horizontal. They will appear in the Endview vertical from right to left. I thought it was either B or D. The answer is D, but why?

A is gone because the figure should be pointed on the very right side, as indicated by the dashed line in the front view.

C is gone because the dashed diamond is oriented the wrong way. The left-hand object of the front view is rather long vertically and the object in C isn't.

D is gone because the diamond shape in the back should be below the pentagon shape in the front.

However, B should be gone too because the long connecting rod clearly intersects the pentagon in the top view halfway between the top point and the left point, as in figure D. In figure B it's too close to the left.

So I'd choose figure E, 'none of the above because this question was poorly drawn'.

arent they all wrong?
B comes the closest, but the smaller " <> " shape should not be dotted on the bottom side which is exposed....
Where did you get this question from?

B is the closest.

Yeah, where are you getting these from? Both of them that you've shown honestly have no correct answer.

In the right answer, key features should line up. B (top) does so the best, D (bottom) is obviously wrong.

It isn't clear that it's B, but I'd still go with it. Check out this:

The red lines with the pentagon are correct but the diamond shape lines are slightly off. Especially on the left.

The blue line is the pipe thing as shown on the side view. The green line is the pipe thing shown on the top view. They are clearly not overlapping.

its none of them, cant you see that one of the shapes in all the choices is doted ... which should be a solid line b/c there is nothing covering it up.😕
