Hi!
So i am studying for PAT. The first day i study for TFE, i realize that it is so hard since you have to imagine it. But after several practice TFE, i realize that i got almost every answer right base on "rules of lines and angles," not imagination 3D

So i was worry since i do not know if it is a right approach to solve TFE. Do you guys do the same thing?

Thanks

i'm sorry, i don't understand ur theory. but i'm glad it works for u.

at first, i was using rules of lines. but that only works on easy TFE problems. Once you find harder pictures, it will make it harder to use that rule. Don't rely on it too much unless it's a very simple problems. 3D is the best.

for TFE
rules of hot girls > 3D > rules of line .

and also, the rules of hot girls work for angle ranking, cube, folding, hole punching and key hole.
so just learn the rules of hot girls and u should ace the PAT.

Do you mean based on the matching number of edges? Like left edge of end view matching with the edges of front view and .....?

sh**! I think you guys are right! Do you guys think practice will help to solve one that involve 3D since i am really suck at it?
btw, thanks for answering its 2:25 am😴

no problem. it's only 5:25am here.
it's hard to make 2D into 3D in ur head but keep on practicing it.

well it's better to know where the height changes occur and 3D imagination is always a plus! 2:25am. is still early, I normally get done at 5am. lol

I count lines the kaplan way and on crack dat I usually get 14/15 or 15/15. I own up the crack dat TFE, sometimes there are really annoying ones though
