Hi guys, There are only three lines for the essays #15 &16 in the supplemental. How did you manage to fit everything????????
I am guessing u guys all attached another sheet of paper for #17?
Help!
For those of you who submitted your PharmCAS, does Touro send you a confirmation that they received it? and how long does it take for them to send out supp invites?
Thanks!
My interview is tomorrowAnyone interviewing that day as well?
My PharmCAS was mailed out 9/27, and I got the supplemental invite today. And nope, I didn't get any other e-mails from them before the invite.
can please someone tell us about their writing essay?
Got my acceptance letter earlier today!![]()
Congrat! Do they make you deposit for your spot?
My interview is next Thursday, I'm quite nervous for the interview since it will be my 1st interview. 😀
I got my acceptance through e-mail unofficially. They will send me my official acceptance through mail and I'm pretty sure they'll mention the deposit.
You'll do fine in the group interview! It's really informal and was more like a conversation. It was actually fun 🙂 Gluck!!![]()

Anyone interviewing this 10/28? Are you staying at Courtyard Marriott and taking the shuttle at 8:30 am?
Or for those who had interviewed before, do anyone know which area of Marriott will the shuttle be waiting at 8:30 am? At the front door?
Thanks.🙂
Congrats! When was your interview?

I realize how this sounds, but it seems kind of annoying that I would be spending 2 years doing rotations when every other school only requires 1. It seems like that's a year I could be getting paid $100,000 instead of paying a school $36,000 for me to be volunteering in a pharmacy. Know what I'm saying? That's a $136,000 hidden fee. I don't want to discourage any of you who are attending, but for that reason this school is going to be the lowest of my picks. I can see why their acceptance GPA is kind of low even though they are one of the few schools that don't require PCAT.
your lowest picks? Does that mean if it is the only school that pick you, you would still go? 🙂
CONGRATS
Are you planning to actually attend this school?
So I know that Touro is unique in that you get 2 years of rotation instead of 1. Does anyone know how they fit all the info you must know in the 2 years? Is it just at a faster pace? Any comments about experiences with the curriculum would be helpful. Thanks!
From the Touro student handbook: said:Note that the College of Pharmacy has a 19-week semester which is considerably longer than the usual 13 to 15 week semester. During the first two years, these extended semesters will provide 76 weeks of instruction versus 52 to 60 weeks in the usual semester or quarter model.
The shuttle will be waiting at the front door of the hotel. You should check at the front office when you're ready.
Ty! My interview was on 10/13.
Wow! They respond pretty quick. Our coordinator told us 3 weeks maybe they really like you. Did you had a good reception of the interview?
I am not even sure if I'm going to apply. They have interviews on Wednesdays and Thursdays which is TERRIBLE timing. Most of us have classes we're trying to pass, and that means that for those who live a fair bit away, we would have to fly down there and miss at least 2 days of school. Then they make you decide right then and there if you're going to accept with a $2,000 deposit. Plus its in a ghetto of the Bay Area (insanely high rent costs), and it's the most expensive school I've seen. And you know the second year of rotations is just so they can make another $36,000 off of you for free as it costs them nothing to have you do a second year of rotations. LOL Come on, do they think that pre-pharmacy students aren't smart enough to figure out their game? If I'm going to be in it for 4 years. I'd rather go to a school that spreads out the didactic training over 3 years and has 1 year of rotations.
Where's the upside to this school? It just seems like it represents everything wrong with America's skyrocketing cost of healthcare and higher education while effectiveness of the two fields is actually declining.

I had my interview today and I thought went really well. The group interview is so much more relaxed and casual than i initially thought. The good thing about admissions is that they get back to you a week after your interview date on whether you got accepted or not. *crosses fingers!*
***hey, we were in the same interview group, no?
they send out decisions after the committees meet. the turn around time all depends on when their meetings are scheduled.
Could be, were you in the group of 5 or 6 people? 😉
I was in the group with 6. Debra Hill and Han Wong (?) were 2 of my interviewers. i don't remember the other guy
I was in the other group. 😛 The one with the "past tense name" if you remember. 😀
I just got the unofficial e-mail today... I'm in!!! Yay!! =]
Anybody interviewed on October 27? Holler back at me! I got in!!! YAY! I was the girl who wore the dark teal shirt lol
I sent in my deposit yesterday and Touro should of received it by noon today according to the post office. Did anyone receive any conformation that the deposit was received?
I received the unofficial notice of decision via email saying I got accepted but it never mentioned anything about the deposit. Is it going to say something about the deposit in the official letter they send out in the mail?
