Has anyone thought about mailing themselves the transcripts before AADSAS opens, have AADSAS open, print and attach the matching form to the envelope of the transcripts, and then mailing the transcripts? This would make them arrive quite quickly to ADEA.

I'm pretty certain the transcript mail to address has to be the ADEA office. If it's addressed to you or your personal address, I don't think it's considered official anymore.

Even if it still sealed?

"An official transcript must be issued from the Office of the Registrar, and contains an official seal or signature of the Registrar and a watermark. It is sent to ADEA AADSAS directly from the Registrar in a sealed envelope. Transcripts issued to students are considered unofficial and are not accepted by ADEA AADSAS. Also, any transcripts that are sent from the applicant to ADEA AADSAS are not accepted."

I believe that means it's not considered official even if it remains sealed. Probably because seals can be forged. So if it's forwarded directly to them by the registrar, it decreases the chances of that happening.

But I guess there's no harm in calling to ask since it doesn't explicitly state that anywhere. That's just my understanding.

valid point--hadn't considered that. If you get the transcipt and don't open it, that might work--best check however.

This solves it, thanks.

I think you can time it a bit... like you could order the transcripts on May 27th knowing that they won't reach before June 2 but will be there early. Then you can call AADSAS to let them know that you sent the transcript in advance. This is what one of the representatives suggested to me.
