Is it OK to use email to send the transcript matching form to the schools?
Reason I ask is, one of the universities that I've attended, is almost an hour and half away from my home, and it'd be difficult to make time to drive up/back.

But if it needs to be done... 😎

I had to apply for one of mine through the National Student Clearinghouse, and it gave me an area to upload a document.

Here's what I'd do--I'd call the Student Records office tomorrow and tell them you have a form that you need to be submitted along with your transcript. They'll tell you where to e-mail it to ensure that it gets attached. I don't think they'd ever make you drive there, LOL!

👍 yep this is exactly what I'm doing.

Yep, I did the electronic signature. Actually, it's like an actual photograph of my signature so it's like I actually signed it. I faxed my forms to each school, but like mentioned above, I notified them before so they knew to expect it.

Install Adobe Reader, I think it should let you do it.

a question about the transcript matching form:

1.) we can't get these forms until the application is submitted correct? Because I am trying to still work on the personal statement but I also want to get the ball rolling.

2.) If we do submit transcripts without the AADSAS transcript form can we send the transcript form later or can each school I sent transcripts from fax/email the transcript form.

1) You should send them ASAP so once you submit they can verify your GPA.
2) One should always try to send the matching form with the transcripts to make it easier for them, however, if you don't send the form they still can match your transcript through your app with your name but that may take more time.

thanks for the reply. im sort stuck in a no-win situation then. how much longer do you think it will take the AADSAS ppl to match my transcript to my app without the form?

I faxed GSU. The number is 404-413-2220. Just include a cover letter with the transcript matching form saying what you need them to do. Include your name, panther ID, signature, and number of copies you need sent.

Call them 617-612-2045 as they may have an idea of the timeframe.

so we don't fill anything out on the transcript request form? we just put our signature on it? that's it?

I was curious about this too, I feel it would be redundant to put the info in again since its on our application and they can refer with the barcode on the form.

can anyone confirm this?

so I called the AADSAS customer service and they said they you or the college registrar's office has to fill out the information on the blank lines except for the section that says "Former Name Used While Enrolled in the Institution" unless you did have a different name while you attended that college.

let me know if you're still confused, i'll be glad to help.

my college just put the same name on it. I haven't used a different last name, but my college still put the same name. I hope AADSAS is ok with that.

so i don't fill that out? also, it says to enter the degree is applicable, do we enter the degree only if we already graduated? i am going to graduate in december 2013 so should i write my major/degree on there?

you can put the degree with (anticipated date) next to it, that way they know you are trying to get it done, whereas if you said graduated they would assume you just finished your degree.
