PLEASE,I NEED RESPONSES PRONTO!!!
I have a problem ... I attended a community college in california about 9 years ago...I attended for two semesters and dropped the last semester with all w's ( thats what I thought) I went to add this college to my pharmcas and I noticed that the cc did not give me w's but grades, horrible grades.
I am at a 3.925 GPA, the grades drop me down to a 3.37GPA. The thing is I do not need any of the courses from this cc. my current cc advisor told me not to put it into my transcript request because of the possible error on there part and that there is no way that pharmcas will know if I do not report it...It bothers me because of the integrity issue BUT I am also bothered because it was a class withdrawl issue not my academic standing issue. has anybody heard of someone getting in trouble because of this issue...do I include this transcript which has no classes that I need to transfer over or do I keep it on the DL. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't you already post this elsewhere? Anyway...you are required by Pharmcas to list ALL college coursework taken, and list ALL colleges attended, regardless of how long ago or whether or not the classes are considered prerequisites. I suppose if you chose not to list the college, you might get away with it. However, if the pharmacy school did some research on you, and found out about your previous CC coursework, I guarantee there would be serious ramifications. Maybe the school would kick you out, maybe not, but regardless your integrity would be questioned. Not a good way to start out in a profession respected for its integrity.

I would suggest you try to take action to ammend your transcript at the CC. In all likelihood they won't cooperate with you, but its worth a try. In the meantime, apply to the schools you want to apply to, and take advantage of essays in the secondary application to explain the circumstances behind your GPA. To give you some hope: when Pharmcas calculates your GPA, they separate it out by college. So your pharmacy schools will see that you got a 3.925 at X school and a 1.225 (or whatever) at Y school, and hopefully see that you are a very respectable student.

Either way, a 3.37 average GPA is still good enough to get you into many pharmacy programs. There are some that will weed you out immediately because you don't reach some predefined "cut-off," but I would estimate that this is the minority of schools.

Check your official transcripts from other colleges attended. If the CC which you attended is listed as transfer credit on any of these transcripts then PharmCAS will 100% require you to submit that transcript. Otherwise, if its not listed on any of these transcripts, then PharmCAS has no way of knowing that you attended the CC, and you're in the clear.
