Let's say you go to an university but for the summer you attend a community college to take a science class which you can transfer to your university with credits only. When pharmacy schools look at your university transcript does it show you took that specific science class at a community college and transfered it to the univeristy? If so, do you think they might look down upon that? Would it be much better if I take the science class at the university instead? Sorry if this is a repost, I really didn't know how to 'search' for this specific question. Have you done this? Thanks for your time.

Cheers,

Pharmacy schools require that you send them all your transcripts from previous colleges attended, so you will have to send them your transcript from the community college, even if you do transfer credits to your university.
It doesn't matter where you take your sciences classes, I took my pre-req at a community college and I still got accepted.

I don't know how to search for specific topics myself...sorry.
But you can refer to this link if you have further questions:

Good luck

I know that they consider the grade that you got at that community college and factor it into your science GPA. Mine was a little different.. I took business courses at a University and transferred them over to my current university. If the school that you apply to uses PharmCAS, they ask for the grade that you got at that school and I'm pretty sure they'll take that into your final grade. I don't think it will make too much of a difference as long as you got an A in that science class. I'm not too sure about a B because community colleges tend to have an easier curriculum than a university. But I can't say for sure!

Ah, cool thanks a lot for the information! Cheers! 😎

You also need to make sure that your college will accept the community college credits, if you are planning on earning a degree. Once you're enrolled in an upper division school, they don't want you going back and taking classes at a community college unless they are not offered at your school. If you aren't planning on earning your degree, then it doesn't matter.
