Trouble registering / no availability...Anyone else?

I am trying to reschedule my exam on prometric but the last available day shown is June 2nd, and then no availability at all after that (for all testing centers). I would find this pretty hard to believe...Can someone please tell me if they were able to schedule in June/July/August and how the availability was? When I just browse/locate testing centers and check availability that way, it shows plenty of availability for several months. But when I actually try to reschedule by entering my confirmation number etc, the last available day (for me at least) is June 2nd. Is there a time limit on how far out you can reschedule from your initial registration date?

I scheduled for July a few weeks ago (first time taker/registration)....and there were only 3 dates available in July at that point. Nothing in August/June. So I believe it could be that the seats are gone. But then again, maybe you have that limit on how far from your initial date you can reschedule....so I would check with Prometric directly.... Maybe try expanding your search further? Good luck!

Ya, apparently its always busy towards the end of the summer (which makes sense as lots of people study casually throughout the summer and want to take it near the end. I'm registered for mid June, and I'm hoping its enough time!

Just to make sure...do you have to wait a certain amount of time between registering at Prometric and taking your exam? For example if there's a date open two weeks from now could I sign up and take that? (granted I've already applied through ADA with a dentpin etc)

Hi Nancy, thanks as always for your contributions around here. Do you have any information as to my question above about availability at testing centers this June/July/August? I would think it should be relatively simple for someone out there who's also trying to register/reschedule for one of those dates to tell me if they're seeing the same availability as me (or lack of availability that is). Are those months really completely booked? Thanks in advance.

Thank you I would really appreciate it. I will try to give Prometric a call tomorrow as well. I really hope there's just something wrong with my account and the availability that I'm seeing. As far as which testing center, I have looked up several across the country just to check and the last available day that I am getting for all of them is June 1st or June 2nd.

Here is the direct number to the ADA central registration center. 1 800 688 5804. You can call them directly and also register on the phone. I don't know the city and state you are trying to register for but I was told by the registration center there are plenty of seats open in the NYC area for June, July and August. Remember, you can schedule no more then 3 months in advance. If you continue to have problems my advice is to contact them directly.

So I called Prometric and they said that it was just the end of my testing window (not completely booked, phew), which is apparently 6 months from when you initially register with ADA, after which you have to call ADA to request an extension.
