Has anyone else had problems with their GRE scores being "sent" by ETS but not being received by schools? I had my scores sent to 4 schools and none of them have received anything 😡 ETS says the reports were sent out on 8/30 so it definitely should've gotten there by now!

I'm not sure if I should spend the $$ to have the reports resent if this is going to happen again. I wish there was some tracking number on the ETS side so we could verify that schools received everything. I'm not sure what to do and the deadline is getting close 🙁 Any advice?

Yeah, they aren't what I would call 'on the ball' over there at ETS. I know that last year I had to call them and get them to resend twice before the school actually got it. When you call they will most likely tell you that they sent them on such and such date but then you ask the schools and they claim they never got them.

I made my way to calling all of the schools and only Western received my scores, not Cornell or UPenn. So now I'm thinking maybe ETS did send the scores, but the schools lost them for some reason? Argh.

This whole process is so draining heh

That's the difficult part is that you really just don't know who screwed up. I'd play safe though and call ETS and ask them to resend it. They shouldn't charge you either.

I wouldn't stress over it just yet, there is a lot of paper work to be done on the schools' end. Especially when the deadline hasn't happened yet, not everything has been processed.

I have applied to vet school several times before, had my GRE scores requested by mid-to late August, and have never had one lost yet (knock on wood, of course!) Each school that I have applied to has given me a grace period if they found something missing (usually a misplaced transcript), most of the time they didn't figure it out until November-December- it has never been a problem.

Just remember that these schools get tons of GRE scores in at the same time usually, and have to put everybodys' files together. Not that I would recommend doing it, but I know of several applicants who have missed deadlines and had things lost- and they still got in.

This may be stressful right now, but the waiting part is even worse. It will all work out in the end though.

:luck:
