TSU accreditation

i'm a pre-dent doing some research for my pre-pharm bf....

ok i tried to search this forum, but i'm not getting anywhere, is TSU losing it's accreditation? he's considering going there, just want some info

who do the pharm schools need to be accreditated by?

i know i've seen in other programs like dental assisting they'll say there accreditated, sure they are, but not accreditated by the people who count.

Pharmacy schools must be accredited by APCE.

TSU's accreditation is up for review this semester, so by the summer, they'll find out how long they will be accredited for...

tell your bf to consider UH as well?

i heard that tsu lost its accreditation from a couple tsu students. whats going to happen now to those that are already in pharmacy school? for those that have applied this upcoming year and accepted? and those that are wanting to apply? how and how long will it take to get their accreditation back?

A school normally doesn't go from having full accreditation to no accreditation. They are normally placed on probation for up to two years. To my knowledge, not a single school has ever lost accreditation.

so basically a school recovers from a 12 month probation period. hopefully tsu doesn't have these faults because other schools might be looking down on degrees
