wow all the rejections with superb scorers.. that's great for ppl like me.. i guess i'll cross my fingers..

I heard Pritzker loves teaching experience and puts out a higher proportion of teaching MDs than any other school. Did you have any TA or tutoring experiences?

It's more likely, though, that some medical student was having a bad day, gave your app a negative review and you got screwed. I personally don't like the fact that medical students review applications. What if a student who had a low MCAT score was reviewing? Of course, they are going to feel for the applicants in the same situation and throw out more interviews to the low MCAT applicants than an impartial reveiwer would. The same goes for a student with a high MCAT or trouble with orgo... I don't know, I think the process has many weaknesses, but it's what we got.

This was post secondary. Also Uchicago is top 25, this ain't GW or something, I cant see them rejecting on too high stats.

When you wrote the essays for the secondary, did you at least hint that you'd be interested in going to UChicago? Maybe that's it. Nothing else makes sense. You didn't even get a face-to-face with them. 😕
