Hello guys,

I have visited the U.S. Air Force's website and found some information. I wanted to know more about the benefits of joining the Air Force as a pharmacist, can you guys share please?

Thank you!

I have a few military pharmacist friends (Air Force, Navy, Army). The AF guy has been to at least two distinct duty stations in the four years since graduation. They also scheduled a year for him to complete a residency (which he's doing now). I'm not sure what, if anything, happens to your pay if you are a resident. I assume he still receives his AF pay, but I'm not sure.

I'm also pretty sure he was receiving pay while he was a student (after being accepted to the program). I'm sure it's on the AF website, but I wanna say it was equivalent to E-6 pay?
