I think the reason why there is such a low number of ppl registered for classes is simply because many of the acceptees haven't taken the time to do it. I didn't do it till last week or so (and I was accepted in March), but basically all you have to do to register is call up an automated system and type in one 5-6 digit number and it chain registers you for all your classes (and I think it might even register your for your 2nd year as well??). Anyways I wouldn't use that number as a good indicator of how many people are planning on going there, because I'm sure theres quite a few that just haven't done it yet.

I agree...I just registered yesterday, so I was behind the ball a little bit too. Also, I am not sure if this helps anyone, but a few months ago, I was told that I was in the Middle of the middle third of the waitlist, and was accepted about 3 weeks ago. Hope that helps with your calculations! Good luck to everyone still waiting!!
 
Hmm... notgettingin when did you interview. When I talked with Jeff back in March he told me that i was in the upper middle third.. and then a month after that he told me he wasnt suppose to say anything.

I still havent heard anything. So I guess you must have been in the upper middle 1/3. I'm just surprised how none of us have heard anything since like end of June.

Thanks for the optimism! I hope things go well for you too. We never know whats gonna happen in the month or so.

For those who are waiting for a different school that are accepted to Buffalo, I hope you guys get into those schools. Hahaha... It would be great for everyone!!

So is anyone really planning that vegas trip?

I was also told by Jeff that I was in the upper middle 1/3 back in may, and that it was 'only a matter of time'.....and i still haven't heard yet...I hope someone hears some news this week.
 
well, from my convo today, its not looking good for us in the middle 1/3. In short, every days that go by out chances become less and less. For example, if we were told our chances were 50-55% before, well now its looking more like 30-35%...well that just SUCKS...

f-it, with people still saying they were int he upper middle 1/3, and 3 weeks left, I will throw in that mental towel very very soon.

Also for those thinking about reapplying to buffalo via EDP, well don't. I asked about EDP and well it just doesn't have a good track record. The stats seem to be that only about 2 or 3 people have gotten in via EDP in the past few years.

you know what sucks about being attached to your phone? Being afraid to go into the NYC subway system. There is NO cell phone reception down there...I just hope i don't get any important calls when i'm down there. It's really funny, I try not to go into the city during day time hours, haha.

I totally hear you. And I have a 45 minute commute everyday from Brooklyn to the Upper East Side. I just hope that if that call DOES come and I'm underground, that one of my 14 other phone numbers I gave them works!!!
At least you have the option not to go into the city!!😉

no word today? Well, at least there is one less person in the facebook group, maybe someone withdrew?

edit: I don't think Mr. Rosso was in the office today, i sent him an email yesterday, and haven't gotten a response back (he's usually very good with email), so no phone calls would have been made if Mr. Rosso isn't in.
 
I was told that he was there.. I gave Jeff my phone number to call me back, but he never called back.
