UC berkeley extension chemistry

I need to take some chemistry classes (last take 10 years ago and in a foreign country).

I was going to register for general chemistry at my local college but they're being unhelpful since they have no record of my high school and I cannot get transcripts from my country (due to COVID).

Since everything is online now I was thinking of registering with UC Berkley online chemistry course. Anyone have any experience with UC Berkley extension?

The UCB program may or may not have a lab component associated with the course. Be sure to consider this aspect.

Yea from what I understand, the pre-reqs for most schools mandate lecture AND lab.

If you have the option to do an online lab vs. in-person lab I would go with the in-person lab if possible
Lab really makes the ideas from lecture gel together, so it's in your best interest to go to lab anyways

All classes at my local community college and my state 4 year university is online (including labs). I think all classes will be online for the foreseeable future due covid. America is seeing a massive surge in cases.

I really want to do in person classes since it makes it easier to get good professor recommendations too.
